Share Forever (shareforever.org) lets people share photos, videos, voice notes and stories in memory of someone, privately with that person's family. Questions about this policy: team@shareforever.org. Effective October 11, 2026.
Memorial details: the name of the loved one, and optionally phone numbers or email addresses the family gives us when a memorial is created or set up.
Memories: the photos, videos, voice recordings, written messages and captions that a person sends, together with the sender's name and phone number, when they share through our website or send a WhatsApp message to +1 845-262-4426.
Accounts: shul and community administrators give a name, email address and shul name. Families choose a portal password, which we store only in scrambled (hashed) form.
Basic technical information such as the pages visited and an IP address, used for security and to prevent abuse.
We keep each memory in the family's private portal and show the family who sent it. We may reply to a sender with a short confirmation or thank-you message. If the family asks for it, we email them a short note when a new memory arrives. The note never contains the memory itself. We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing.
Only the family can open the memories in their portal, using their password. Shul and community administrators can see totals such as how many memories and visits there are, but not the memories themselves. A family can create a temporary link to a single memory to show someone else. Those links stop working after 7 days.
We use Cloudflare for hosting and file storage, Twilio and WhatsApp (Meta) to receive and send messages, and Resend to send email. They handle information only to provide the service to us.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
If you send a memory by WhatsApp we may reply with a short confirmation. Frequency varies, usually 1 to 5 messages per memory. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.
A family can ask us to delete a memorial and everything in it, and a sender can ask us to remove a memory they sent, by emailing team@shareforever.org.
Share Forever is not directed at children under 13.
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above.
